Keller Williams Golden Triangle Realty Riding for the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Kitchener

TORONTO, ONTARIO (June 9, 2009)— Keller Williams Golden Triangle Realty rode a 30-seater “Big Bike¿ through the streets of Kitchener, ON yesterday to raise awareness and funds for the Heart and Stroke foundation.

30 of the most enthusiastic realtors and staff peddaled their way past the cheering and honking citizens of Kitchener and collected donations for this important cause. The Heart and Stoke foundation is organizing similar events across the country with a goal of raising over $7 million in 2010.

Some of the work and results by the Heart and Stroke Foundation:

  • In-utero heart treatments that save babies' lives before they're born.
  • Neo-natal procedures that have led to groundbreaking work in repairing the defective hearts of 'blue babies'.
  • Pioneered the use of a clot-busting drugs that, when accessed quickly, can reverse the effects of stroke.

In 2010 KWGTR was the only real estate company to ride in Kitchener, but they intends to make it an annual event and encourage real estate professionals from all companies to join them in support of this very worthy foundation.
